Education remains the backbone of societal transformation, and I am proud to have officially launched the first phase of the Bursary Allocation Programme across Webuye West Constituency. The overwhelming turnout and warm reception at Matulo Friends Church reaffirmed our shared commitment to empowering our children through education.
During my speech, I clarified the vetting process and applauded the dedicated officials behind the programme. I also assured those who missed out in this phase that they will be included in the second phase soon.
Beyond bursaries, I pledged to establish a training workshop for jobless youths, equipping them with technical skills such as tailoring and hairdressing. Additionally, an ICT Hub will be set up to provide digital skills in computer studies and online writing for our young people.
Another key highlight was the announcement of the Waswa Loan, designed to support small-scale business owners and uplift local enterprises.
I was honored to be joined by MCAs Hon. Stephen Kaiser Simiyu (Matulo Ward), Hon. Milliah Masungo (Misikhu Ward), Hon. Grace Sundukwa, and other esteemed leaders. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for Webuye West!
